It cannot be denied specific anxiety existed before departure. Due to the unstable political condition of this country, it might be much more dangerous to travel there than most regions. However as a matter of fact, there was no violence observed by us during the hole journey. Nothing made people nervous but some armed vehicles and police. The normal life and tour was not effected so profoundly as imagined. The tour guide of us was a local citizen opposing the regime crashed 2012 which was supported by the driver. Contrarily they chatted jubilantly calling each other 'Habibi' that means 'dear friend' in Arabic.
The most exciting segment of these days is the murals we observed. It is splendid the frescoes shown in the temples are. The ancient Egyptian civilization had created incredible artworks either recording stories and spilling the art talent of them. By some reason photographing is inhibit in some temples and tombs, however I still brought enormous impressive inspiration.
One temple we wandered in was in Aswan. It should be, in my opinion, more anecdotal than others we had met. The carving on the walls are not merely done by thousands of years ago, but also added with some elements by vandals 200 years ago when some Christians came. The observation of symbols about Ra the Sun God gave them the trend to eradicate these icons and carved some crosses instead.
Another temple we visited on an evening in Nubia showed some casual life of some ancient Egyptians, like taking medicine, cultivation and migration for incidence. Remarkably, some murals was done with vivid colours and still can be seen heretofore.
Additionally, there is another intelligent facility produced two thousand years ago which can predict the flood period of the Nile. The principle they employed was to dig a tunnel to connect the cavern and the river. Consequently when a particular number of stairs were drowned, the inhabitants there were supposed to prepare for migration.
Taking photos were not allowed in Abu Simbel Temples and Valley of Kings. Owing this I scribbled some interesting parts of the frescoes on my small notebook. One thing made me feel encouraged that a porter of a tomb in Valley of Kings spoke to me. 'Artist? You must be nice.' He said when noticed I was sketching.
We paid visits to two Egyptian local hordes, Nubia and Bedouin. They possess some nice traditional technologies. They painted the pictures on the walls with natural pigments. These artificial works are pretty, so are the decorations in the house. Furthermore, they have another natural material which can be utilised to paint some symbols on the skin like a tattoo that just limiting flexibly a month. These pictures look seductive.
To be honest, driving a four-wheel motor cycle in the desert is my favorite activity during this journey. Riding in a spacious region to the lowing sun with a wild way made me drastically energised.
