First of all, the smoke appeared heretofore seems a little rigid.
Secondly, I adjusted the light and colour rendering of one important shot.
In spite of the trend to reveal the story with cartoon style, the contrast between light and dark can qualify the visual performance. I recalled that there is a light system in After Effects. It does not run so well as 3D softs however it is able to simulate nice illumination and shadow effect. Additionally, using the depth of field for camera in the software can make it more perspective and dimensional. Meanwhile I changed the colour of sky to light grey tinted with slice blue. This is aiming to make audiences' eyes more satisfied. Also the comparison of colours between background and main components could make the watchers concentrate on something I want to lead to.
Thirdly, extras now have more little movements.
Except the seven main characters. The town is also filled with tremendous inhabitants. Most of who can not be represented diversely. Hence they are divided to three categories. Fortunately they are acting well in the shot as planed with the Puppet Pin Tool. Now I have given them a head rotation when Painter passes by.
At Last, the buildings are depicted with more details.
The initial idea of painting the background buildings was to simplify them so that more concentration could be captured to the main characters. Then I found out it could be more abundant that the visual revealing if some stroke were added on. Additionally some mechanic elements were put on. Furthermore the characters can be more primary with their movements and the assist of depth field.
